How Evidence Sales handles information

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account and organization information, contact messages, billing choices, and sales records entered into the service.

Sales records may include business contact information and other information about your organization's customers and prospects. Your organization is responsible for having the right to submit that information.

When you use the website or application, we may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referral information, and application activity.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate Evidence Sales, authenticate users, maintain account security, respond to questions, process requests, improve the product, understand website usage, communicate service information, manage licenses, and support billing.

When a new customer creates their first Evidence Sales account, we send the account name and email address to our customer relationship management system so we can maintain the customer relationship and communications described below.

We may also use information to detect abuse, investigate security issues, enforce our terms, and protect users and the service.

Service providers

We use Amazon Web Services to host the application, store service data, authenticate accounts through Amazon Cognito, and deliver operational notifications. Cloudflare Turnstile processes public-form security checks. HubSpot receives new-customer name and email information for customer relationship management. Resend delivers welcome messages.

Stripe processes subscriptions and receives the billing customer's email address, organization name, organization identifier, and active-license quantity. Payment card information is handled by Stripe and is not intended to be stored directly by Evidence Sales.

Google provides website analytics, advertising measurement, and an optional sign-in method. LinkedIn and Microsoft provide advertising measurement. These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy notices while providing services to Evidence Sales.

Analytics, advertising measurement, and browser storage

We may use cookies, local browser storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and application functionality.

For visits that Evidence Sales can verify as coming from the United States, optional analytics and advertising tags may be loaded by default to understand website activity and measure marketing results. The current tags are Google Tag Manager container GTM-TXRF6L4W, Google Analytics 4 tag G-919SHHFL8M, Google Ads tag AW-18404975107, Google Conversion Linker, LinkedIn Insight Tag partner 9600930, and Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking tag 97261697.

These tools may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral and advertising identifiers, pages viewed, and conversion events such as a newly created customer account or completed checkout return.

Optional analytics and advertising tracking is not loaded for visits outside the United States or when a United States location cannot be verified. Evidence Sales also treats a Global Privacy Control signal as an automatic opt-out. United States visitors can opt out or change a saved choice at any time through Your privacy choices. A necessary preference cookie remembers an opt-out for one year; it is not used for advertising.

A completed checkout return may use the Stripe checkout session identifier as a transaction identifier for conversion deduplication. Evidence Sales does not send payment card details to Google.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, when required by law, when necessary to protect the rights and security of Evidence Sales or others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect account credentials and use appropriate security practices.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with your account or to request a correction or deletion when applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, billing, or operational reasons.

You can control optional analytics and advertising through Your privacy choices or Global Privacy Control. You can also control browser cookies and storage through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies or storage may prevent parts of the application from working correctly.

Marketing communications

When you create an account, we may use your name and email address to send occasional product news, educational content, and offers from Evidence Sales. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contacting us.

Welcome messages, confirmation codes, password resets, security alerts, billing notices, and other account or service messages are not marketing. You may still receive these messages when they are needed to provide or protect your account.

Children

Evidence Sales is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.

Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through the Evidence Sales contact form. The separate Terms of Service govern use of the website and application.
